Gargrave Lands Charity holds information dating back to August 1893 which details property and land owned by the charity. This was subsequently leased, in order to receive an annual income that could be allocated to those in need.
Whilst over the years, some of the assets have diminished, the income was, and still is to this date, distributed amongst the permanent residents of Gargrave, Eshton, Flasby, Coniston Cold, Bank Newton, and Winterburn to those suffering financial hardship.
Gargrave Lands Charity is a dedicated non-profit organisation that offers financial support to all which is managed by a small group of Trustees. The vision is to create a strong, supportive community where everyone has access to necessary resources and assistance.
